NEARLY half of Yorkshire people say there is not enough information about the change in drug-driving laws.
A survey of 1,000 residents in the county found 47 per cent were unhappy about the level of information, and four out of ten were concerned that prescription drugs were included in the change.
The survey found that 30 per cent of respondents admitted that they would be completely put off taking potentially required prescriptions due to the law change.
On average two people a day were being caught drug-driving. But Yorkshire people were sceptical about what effect the changes would have on deterring drug-drivers, more than 70 per cent saying the law change would have no effect on the number of accidents that would be caused by drug driving.
