A HOUSE in Bradford was badly damaged by fire today.
Firefighters from Bradford and Fairweather Green stations went to an unoccupied property on Lytton Road, Four Lane Ends, at 4.30pm.
A fire service spokesman said some old furniture and mattresses had been piled up and set alight upstairs, and that thick, black smoke was pouring from under the roof tiles.
No-one was injured, he added.
