NADIA’S Wish Beer Festival, based at the Crown Inn in Addingham, is set for a busy weekend.
On Saturday, there will be live music from Last Orders at 6pm.
There will also be a balloon launch, while On Sunday, after the Tour de Yorkshire cyclists pass at about 3.30pm, there will be live music from Bob and The Blues Makers from 4pm.
The festival starts at 4pm on Saturday and noon on Sunday, and tickets are £5, with money raised going to Manorlands Hospice and Cruse Bereavement Care. Nadia’s Wish has been set up in memory of Addingham resident Nadia Shaw (nee Mitchell), a former employee at the Crown pub who died of breast cancer aged 33 in 2011.
A selection of beers, ciders and wines will be available from the festival marquee, and more information on Nadia’s Wish Charity can be found at http://nadiaswish.co.uk/.
