AN INTERACTIVE workshop will tell parents all they need to know about life at the University of Bradford.
The ‘Everything You Want To Know About University’ event will advise parents on how to guide their child through the university decision-making and application process, from initial application through to enrolment.
Visitors will also be able to tour the university campus and its facilities and find out about things like courses, admission requirements, student life and student finance.
Mark Garratt, director of external affairs at the university, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for parents to find out more information about the university process.
“For many parents the university application process can be a daunting and confusing time, especially if you’ve not been through it before. This workshop will not only explain the steps clearly but will give an insight into student life and what they, as parents can expect from the start of the application right through to enrolment.”
Anyone interested in To attend the workshop can book a place at brad.ac.uk/schools-and-colleges/parent-support. It runs takes place on May 16 between 10am and 12.30pm as part of Bradford Literature Festival, which is on from May 15 to 24.
