THREE Bradford men have pleaded not guilty to a kidnap on the Isle of Man.
Zishaan Amar Sharif, 21, of St Michael’s Road, Girlington; Muhammed Hammad Khan, 24, of Jasmin Terrace, Girlington and Amman Sohail, 22, of Roydscliffe Road, Toller Lane; along with Abdul Ahad, 19, of Kent Street, Burnley, appeared before Deemster Alastair Montgomerie at the court of General Gaol Delivery in Douglas on Monday.
It is alleged they travelled to the island in October to take another man to the UK against his will.
Each pleaded not guilty to one charge of kidnapping.
Deemster Montgomerie adjourned the case until Thursday, June 25, when a pre-trial hearing will take place and trial dates will be fixed.
The complainant, Mohammed Jahed Islam, who is thought to be from Burnley, is understood to have been staying at an hotel in Douglas.
