A 33-YEAR-OLD woman today pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a six-year-old girl by careless driving.
Joanne Rothery, 33, denied causing the death of Lily Davis by careless driving, when she appeared at Bradford Crown Court.
The charge related to a collision in Beacon Road, Buttershaw, Bradford, involving Lily and a Land Rover Freelander, on June 12 last year.
The little girl sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance, where she died.
A three-day trial has been listed for August 17. Rothery, of Beldon Lane, Buttershaw, was released on bail.
