A SPANISH tapas bar is expanding its operations following a successful first year.
La Casita, in Ilkley’s Victorian Arcade, has unveiled a new lunchtime delicatessen and charcuterie menu as a take-out option.
The bar’s new lunchtime ‘to-go’ service will feature some of its most popular hot tapas dishes along with cold options.
Former MasterChef quarter-finalist Simon Miller, co-owner and head chef at the 68-cover venue, said: “We have been delighted with how well La Casita has been received over the last 12 months and I can’t thank our loyal customers enough for supporting us during our first year.
“It’s really important to us to keep this momentum going and like with any business, this means adapting and diversifying our offering. The new delicatessen is our way of responding to what customers, particularly local businesses, actually want and need at lunch time and we hope the new set-up gives customers an exciting, authentically Spanish lunch time alternative to be enjoyed on-the-go.”
“Customers who are familiar with the bar’s main menu will recognise some of our big flavour favourites and for those who are yet to dine with us, we hope the deli gives a sneak peak at what they can expect each evening.”
The bar on South Hawksworth Street is situated on the renovated mezzanine level of the 1895 Victorian Arcade.
