A CHARITY shop manager has been rewarded for her dedication to her role.
Debbie Ing, the manager of a DEBRA charity shop in Wyke, received a Special Recognition Award at a conference in Keele.
DEBRA is a national charity supporting those affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – an incurable and genetic skin condition which can be fatal.
“I’m so proud and passionate of what we do. I’m proud of my volunteers and it’s like a little family we’ve got here,” Ms Ing said.
“It’s absolutely overwhelming the donations that we get and we’re always continuing to raise awareness.”
