POLICE have issued pictures of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a bank card in a Heckmondwike supermarket.
The theft occurred on April 10 after the suspect picked up the purse of a 74-year-old woman which is believed to have been left on a till.
The card was then used to withdraw cash and purchase items in Heckmondwike, Dewsbury, and numerous locations in Leeds, before it was cancelled.
Police Constable Chris Birkenshaw, of the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), said: "We are investigating this offence and appealing for information to trace the man pictured, who we want to speak to in connection with the theft of the victim's card.
"Anyone who recognises him, or can help identify him, should contact the Batley and Spen NPT on 101.
"Information can also be given to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
