LEADING acoustic blues acts will perform at one of Keighley’s railway museums.
The concert is amid historic railcars and railway memorabilia at the Ingrow Rail Museum run by the Vintage Carriages Trust.
The trust is again taking part in the national Museums At Night festival, opening the museum’s doors at 6pm on May 15 and 16.
Keighley singer-songwriter Ben Waters, organiser of the blues concert, said Saturday evening would feature some of the region’s top acoustic blues acts.
These include young Bradford blues man Sleepy Jake Segrave playing music from America’s rural South, Chris Martin with excellent playing and humorous tall tales, local supergroup Bessie’s Blues, and Ben himself playing foot-stomping slide guitar blues.
Ben said: “This will be a great opportunity for blues fans, train enthusiasts and the public to hear authentic, top-quality blues in a unique setting.”
The Museum of Rail Travel is at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s station at Ingrow. Call 01535 680425 for further information.
