GET on your trainers and sign up for this year’s Bradford City Runs.
The event, organised by Bradford Council and Bradford Athletics Network, follows a five-kilometre, 10k or a half-marathon course and will be held on October 25. The route, on closed roads, follows the now familiar 5k circuit around Bradford University and Bradford College, finishing in City Park.
A one-mile children’s run, which also finishes in City Park, will kick off the event. This year’s event will feature a new spectator hub with family entertainment, little runners races and games, and an under fives play-zone in Centenary Square. There will be prizes for all categories and proceeds from the event will go to charity.
The Bradford City Runs are part of a series of Active Autumn events which include the Bradford Sky Ride and Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k.
