British Transport Police (BTP) officers are investigating after a woman and her four-year-old son were racially abused on a train from Leeds to Bradford on Saturday.
The woman heard a group of football fans chanting songs containing foul language in the same carriage she was in.
When she challenged their behaviour, the group are said to have directed racial abuse at her and her son. As she stood up to leave the train, the woman took a photo and contacted BTP.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
