POLICE found 20 skunk cannabis plants worth more than £11,000 at the home of a Bradford man.
Bradford Crown Court heard that Karl Rouse, described as a hardworking man, had grown the cannabis for his own use but would have sold any surplus to friends and acquaintances.
A small amount of cocaine was found in his wallet.
Rouse, 27, of Roper Lane, Queensbury, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis and possessing a class A drug.
He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment suspended for two years, ordered to carry out 180 hours unpaid work for the community, and pay £425 prosecution costs.
