A GROUP set up to restore a historic steamroller is presenting a talk entitled Transport and Steam.
It is the latest in a series of events organised by the Friends of Pudsey Roller, who are raising £30,000 to repair the steamroller, which stood in Pudsey Park for many years.
The talk will be given by Charles Sharp who worked at Thomas Smith’s in Rodley, specialising in the manufacture of cranes sold around the world.
It takes place at Farsley Liberal Club on Thursday, April 30 at 7.45pm. For tickets call (0113) 250 3634.
