FIVE bands put on a show in Haworth as part of an ongoing campaign to save or restore public services in the village.
A line-up including Justin Sullivan and Dean White from New Model Army, Skeletal Family, Indianic, Foxes Faux and soloist Rosa Sargent (pictured) played in Haworth Village Hall and Community Hub, formerly known as Haworth Community Centre.
The Butt Lane premises hosted the benefit gig last Saturday evening.
The event was organised by local resident John Lambert to raise funds for Haworth and Worth Valley Fire Station and the village hall and community hub.
The fire station is currently mothballed after being closed down at the end of last year as part of cost-cutting measures.
Meanwhile, the village hall and community hub faces an uncertain future after its owner, Bradford Council, revealed it formed part of a review of the council’s assets.
Mr Lambert said about 120 people attended the gig. He said the proceeds from the evening were still being counted up.
