BRADFORD Council has applied for a licence to provide entertainment and late night refreshments at a venue in Haworth.
The application relates to Haworth Village Hall and Community Hub, formerly known as Haworth Community Centre.
The licence is being sought for Monday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday from 11am to midnight and Saturday from midnight to 2am. The license would also permit regulated entertainment and refreshments between 11am and midnight on Saturdays and 11am and 10.30pm on Sundays.
This application is being considered by Bradford Council’s environmental and regulatory services licensing team.
A newly formed management team is looking after the Council-owned property in Butt Lane.
The team’s members are taking bookings for the venue, and are aiming to have the building transferred into their ownership.
Bradford Council has previously said that the premises require £509,000 of repairs and refurbishment work.
