CHILD sexual exploitation, poverty, standards in schools, the cost of home care and the number of people killed on the roads – these were just some of the hard-hitting topics examined by the Council’s scrutiny committees in the past year.
The authority has five overview and scrutiny committees, which monitor its performance in various areas and also conduct in-depth examinations of particular issues affecting the district.
A draft report summing up their performances of these five committees has now been written.
It will be discussed at the corporate overview and scrutiny committee at City Hall, Bradford, on Thursday at 5pm.
