SPECIAL guests including an aptly-named new Citroen car will be at the Bradford branch of the British Cactus and Succulents Society’s 70th anniversary gathering at Wilsden village hall on Saturday.
Some 60 guests including nationally-renowned speakers will be at the event from 9.30am to 4pm where there will be prize-winning plants on sale .And will them will be a Citroen Cactus car, which dealers Evans Halshaw of Kings Road, Bradford have donated for a weekend’s free use as a raffle prize. “They will also display some advertising information about the branch and the BCSS alongside the model in their showroom,” said chairman Brian Thornton.
