ARMED police are reported to have swooped on a quiet cul-de-sac to make arrests this afternoon.
The incident happened in Clay Hill Drive, Wyke, at around 1.30pm when residents say up to eight police vehicles, some of which were unmarked, arrived, with one blocking in a silver Laguna.
Officers are thought to have arrested three men and were seen collecting evidence from a property on the street. Crime scene investigators are still at the scene and two officers are standing outside one of the homes.
Rob Green, who lives just yards from where the arrests took place, said: "There were a lot of armed police. It is normally very quiet here."
