A DOG charity wants people in Bradford to become volunteer foster carers.
Dogs Trust is looking for people to look after dogs in their own homes as part of its Freedom Project.
The project helps people who are fleeing domestic violence and need someone to look after their pet until it can safely be reunited with them. One dog in particular who is urgently seeking help is a German Shepherd who is currently being cared for temporarily in boarding kennels.
Project manager Clare Kivlehan said: “We are currently looking for foster carers who ideally have experience with larger breeds within the Yorkshire area. Access to a secure garden or outdoor space, and an owner who is around for the majority of the time is essential.”
