A 31-YEAR-OLD man yesterday pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited weapon.
Sean Kavanagh, of no fixed address, appeared at Bradford Crown Court and admitted possessing a single barrel pump action shotgun with a barrel fewer than 24 inches in length.
Kavanagh pleaded guilty on a basis which was not accepted by the prosecution.
Sentencing was adjourned until June 5.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, told the defendant he had pleaded guilty to a very serious offence. Kavanagh was remanded in custody.
