TEACHERS and pupils learned about mushrooms at a school eco-day.
The event – at Dixons City Academy – included a mushroom information stall.
Examination officer Sue May said: “It was a huge success, our best yet. We had several workshops running on the day and praise for our students.
“The students got a lot out of the day. It made them think about how what they do can impact upon the planet.”
ICT teacher Debbie Vickerman (pictured) said: “The students have encourage all staff and students to look at what we can do (now) to help be greener and create a more sustainable future.”
