THREE people suffered smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire.
Firefighters from Odsal were called to a chip pan fire at a bungalow in Carr Lane, Low Moor, at 9.50pm, on Wednesday.
A man and a woman, believed to be in their 40s, and their son suffered smoke inhalation, but did not need hospital treatment.
Watch commander Phil Warden, of Odsal Fire Station, said: "The house was not fitted with any fire detectors.
"The fire started in the kitchen but did not spread to any other rooms.
"The cupboards and extractor fan around the chip pan caught fire."
