A DOG walker was seriously hurt following an accident when a lowloader vehicle hit a lamp-post.
It is believed the vehicle, which was transporting a digger and driving towards Bradford, mounted the pavement in Haworth Road, near the junction with Crooke Lane, Wilsden.
Police are investigating whether the woman was hit by the lowloader, or by the lamp-post which had been struck by the vehicle.
The woman, who is said to be in her 50s, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Haworth Road has been closed and traffic is being diverted along Crooke Lane.
