Market is part of St George’s festivities
A THREE-day market will be on offer to shoppers in Keighley town centre this week as part of the annual St George’s Day celebrations.
The stalls in Low Street, arranged by Bradford Council, will be trading from 10am to 4pm from Thursday until Saturday.
There will also be entertainment in Church Green on Saturday arranged by Keighley Town Council. This will include a Punch and Judy show, face painting, a mini funfair, a speaker’s corner and performances by the Blowjangles Street Band.
The day will also feature Dr Diablo’s Strange but True show, Musical Ruth, the madcap singing nun, a coconut shy and the final of the Aire’s Got Talent contest.
