CANNABIS was found in a car that had been abandoned in Bradford Moor, blocking a residential street.
Police spotted the car blocking Fagley Terrace on Sunday evening. It had been spotted driving around the area the previous day. When officers were unable to locate the owner, they searched the vehicle and found a small amount of cannabis.
Investigations are ongoing.
Sergeant David Hirst said: “The officers’ keen eye has not only removed the obstruction but also drugs from the car. Officers in Bradford East remain committed to tackling drugs in the area and I would encourage anyone with information on drugs or any other crime to report it. This can be done on the non emergency number - 101 or via Crimestoppers.”
