Crash causes delays on M62
MOTORISTS heading towards Bradford experienced delays today after two vehicles collided on the M62.
A green Nissan Almera was left with a smashed rear windscreen after colliding with a silver Toyota 4x4 in the outside lane of the eastbound carriageway between junctions 24 (Ainley Top) and 25 (Brighouse).
The crash, which left shattered glass on the road and blocked lane three of the carriageway, happened at about 6.45am. There were not believed to be any serious injuries.
Further along the motorway, between junctions 25 and 26 (Chain Bar), a broken-down lorry caused delays at about the same time.
