FREE monthly training sessions are being run for allotment holders across the district to help people grow their own food. Bradford Community Environment Project is running the events as part of its Gardening for Health programme.
The meetings will provide tips and advice and encourage people’s confidence to grow their own fruit and vegetables. Free starter plots will be available and the sessions will take place on the Scotchman Road allotment site opposite Margaret McMillan Primary School in Manningham. The advice surgeries will run from 10am until noon on Saturdays May 16, June 13, July 18, September 5 and October 10.
