A CAR ended up in a garden after its driver lost control and crashed through a wall.
Firefighters from Keighley station were called to Shann Lane, on the outskirts of the town, at 10pm yesterday following reports of an accident.
A Silver Vauxhall Corsa with three people inside had left the road, and came to a stop in the garden. All the people involved were able to get out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived and had been invited into a neighbouring house to recover.
A spokesman from Keighley Fire Station said: "We assessed the scene and worked to make the vehicle safe, including detaching the battery. Paramedics soon arrived and carried out precautionary checks to all three people who were in the vehicle."
After the car was safely removed from the garden, the incident was handed over to police.
A police spokesman said the 22-year-old driver had been breathalysed and tested negative for alcohol.
