POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pile-up on the M606 during rush hour this morning.
A female driver was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with head injuries and a male driver taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for precautionary checks.
The crash happened between the Euroway Trading Estate and the Staygate roundabout on the northbound carriageway at 7.19am and involved a white Ford Transit van, a silver Ford Transit van, a silver Citroen C3 and a silver Seat Alhambra.
The injured woman was travelling in the Citroen C3, which was badly damaged.
The carriageway was not fully re-opened until about 10.15am while emergency services dealt with the crash, said a spokesman for West Yorkshire Police.
Anyone with information should call police on the non-emergency line on 101.
