POLICE have arrested two men on suspicion of stealing from vehicles on Queens Road in Bradford.
Officers from the Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were called to the forecourt of a commercial premises on Tuesday after a member of the public reported an ongoing theft.
Two men were stood by the rear of one of the vehicles on the forecourt, who then ran off when approached by police.
After a foot chase with officers, the pair were detained and arrested.
Enquires into the incident are ongoing, and Sergeant Julie Murphy said: “Tackling and reducing theft from motor vehicles remains a priority for the Bradford East NPT.
“Officers will act on information from the public in relation to this crime, and offenders will be dealt with robustly.”
