STUDENTS at Benton Park School in Rawdon are enjoying a new garden area which was designed and built with the help of their school’s Eco group.
Mark Ross, chairman of The Friends of Benton Park, said: “This has been a whole community project of which our students will benefit through curricular activities, lunch and break seating and the opportunity to maintain the area themselves through gardening clubs.”
The garden was funded through donations from The Friends of Benton Park, Amey, Apperley Gardens Limited, Rawdon Parish Council and Total Plant Analysis.
