MORE than 50 children took part in a holiday club at Keighley Shared Church.
Four days of activities were staged, led by volunteers from about a dozen churches.
The X:site event – supported by national charity, Scripture Union – included crafts, sports, puppets, inflatables, dance and a trip to Cliffe Castle Museum.
“Everything went really well,” said Daniel Mosby, for the organisers.
“We had 56 children and they all seemed to enjoy themselves.
“It was the second time we’d held this event and we’re certainly looking to stage it again next year.”
X:site also holds bimonthly activity evenings at the Shared Church from 6pm to 8pm. The next is on May 16 and then July 11. Visit xsitekeighley.org.uk for more details.
