FIREFIGHTERS and Bradford Council wardens will go door-to-door to talk to residents of West Bowling about fire safety this Friday.
Home fire safety, smoke alarms and escape plans will be discussed with those in residents of people living in Bowling Park Drive, Avenue Road, Burass Road, Bowling Hall Road and Parkside.
If the event is deemed a success, it is to be the fire service and the Council plan to extended it to other streets.
A Council spokesman said: “Alongside giving home fire safety advice and information, Staff will be asking about recent fires in Bowling Park to elicit information from people and encourage them to contact emergency services.”
