Bradford Council is considering a planning application to turn a former sandwich shop into a cafe
AN empty building close to the Westfield shopping centre development could soon re-open as a café.
Bradford Council has received an application for the conversion of 26 Kirkgate, a former sandwich shop, to a café.
Plans for the Grade II listed building (pictured) involve refurbishment of the ground floor. The application says: “The current shop is particularly unkempt due to dereliction and is in need of serious renewal in order to positively enhance the property.”
A decision on the application will be made by June.
