AN open day will be staged at The Wilderness (above), Skipton, on Saturday, April 25.
Visitors will be able to experience the peace of the wildlife garden, explore the unique 200-year-old shell grotto, take part in workshops, watch demonstrations and join a minibeast safari.
The event - organised by the Friends of the Wilderness - will run from 10am to 3pm.
The Wilderness is next to the Cross Keys pub on Otley Road and, for the open day, can be accessed on foot from the pub car park.
