Eccleshill Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the raid
A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of tampering with gas and electricity meters at a house in Harrogate Road, Eccleshill, Bradford.
Officers in the Eccleshill Neighbourhood Policing Team and representatives from an energy supply company executed a warrant under the Gas and Electricity Board Act 1954 to examine the meters after receive a tip off.
The man was arrested for abstracting electricity, theft, criminal damage and fraud and a number of items were seized from the property.
He was granted bail pending further inquiries.
