REVELLERS were out and about in Bradford yesterday enjoying the spring sunshine.
City Park became a popular spot full of sunseekers basking in the warm weather.
Temperatures reached 16C in the district yesterday and are expected to get even warmer today.
Young children were among those who had fun splashing about in the City Park fountains as the spring heatwave continued.
The popular site was full of residents and is expected to be the same today as the sunny weather look set to carry on.
Office workers and shoppers also enjoyed an al fresco lunchtime yesterday on many of the seating areas around the city centre and in Norfolk Gardens, and people also took an aerial view of the sun-kissed city centre on on the giant wheel. the 35-metre high Bradford Eye – which has 24 gondola carriages and remains open until April 19, also proved popular.
But the warm weather won’t last, however, with temperatures in Bradford set to plunge to 10C by tomorrow and the sun replaced by rain on Sunday.
