FINAL preparations are being made for a major procession in which thousands of Sikhs will march through Bradford this weekend.
As part of the 2015 Vaisakhi celebrations, a Nagar Kirtan will be held, where a procession will visit each of the city’s temples.
This year’s Nagar Kirtan will be on Sunday, starting at 10.30am from Ramgarhia Sikh Gurdwara and aiming to finish by 2.30pm.
In previous years, the colour orange has filled Bradford streets during the joyous procession as Sikhs celebrate the birth of their faith. People are warned that there will be disruption to traffic on some routes in the city during the parade.
