MORRISONS in Idle has invested £50,000 to improve its baby change areas and customer toilets.
The baby change facilities at the store, on Bradford Road, have been fully redesigned with an open plan format, designed to allow for larger prams and buggies. They have also been refurbished to incorporate baby feeding chairs, and ‘Quiet’ technologies to help when babies are asleep.
The customer toilets have been fitted with new toilets, toilet cubicles, and sinks, alongside modern vanity units, mirrors, new vents, and improved LED lighting.
Store general manager Paul Kelly said: “We have made a significant investment in our store’s facilities.
“We hope that mums, dads, and regular customers will agree that the improvements have been transformational.
“We expect it will result in an easier and more pleasant shop for everyone who visits our store.”
The activity forms part of an investment programme by the Bradford-based supermarket to redesign its stores, also including extended opening hours, updated car park controls, and the removal of trolley lock facilities.
