VIOLENCE, disturbing behaviour, sexual content and nudity are promised by Keighley Film Club for its next screening.

The club will host The Homesman at Keighley Picture House, North Street, on April 19 from 5.45pm.

The film is described as a grimly realistic Western, set in the bleak unforgiving landscape of Nebraska, that rejects the romantic nostalgia of the past.

The hardship of frontier life, including lost babies and brutal husbands, has driven three local women mad. The film stars Tommy Lee Jones, Hilary Swank and Meryl Streep. and John Lithgow.

Club spokesman Alan Watkinson said: “The Homesman is an adult film and is not for the faint-hearted.”
