BRADFORD residents can take a ride down a 100-metre water slide in the city centre and raise funds for charity.
Slipway Slide will be in Darley Street on Saturday, April 25, between 11am and 4pm and 360 winners will get the chance to have a go on it after they have been drawn from a text ballot.
The slide has been created especially for The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea. Sliders are asked to wear clothing that covers their arms and legs and be prepared to get wet. Lilos for sliding are provided. Anyone interested to be in with a chance of sliding should text Slide followed by their first name and last names to 81400. Texts cost £1.50. People must be aged 18 or over. The Bradford text ballot closes at midnight on April 13.
