A GROUP that strives to protect and enhance an area of woodland in south Bradford has organised a full schedule of events for the Spring and Summer months.
The Friends of Judy Woods will hold an annual general meeting at 7pm on Friday, April 17 at Wyke Methodist Church, followed by a Wild Flower Walk at 1.30pm on Wednesday, May 27, with participants meeting Alice Gingell at the Station Road entrance, off Huddersfield Road.
There will be a Ramble to Jagger Park Wood and Jacque Royd on Wednesday, June 24, with people meeting at 1.30pm at the Station Road entrance. On Sunday, July 26, at 1.45pm, ‘The Woods in Wartime’ walk will start in the lay-by opposite Pear Tree Works, junction of Woodside Road and Huddersfield Road.
