Police are continuing to appeal for information following the attempted robbery of a teenager on the outskirts of Cleckheaton.
The 17-year-old victim was walking alone on the Spen Valley Greenway at the bridge over Primrose Lane at around 7pm on Wednesday, March 25, when he passed a group of four men.
As he has walked past, one of men started talking to him before grabbing his jacket and attempting to put his hands in the pockets. A struggle has ensued before the victim has been tackled to the ground. While on the ground he was further assaulted by the group before they left the scene on foot, police said.
The victim suffered minor head and body injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspects are described as four Asian men, aged between 18 and 19-years-old. The man who grabbed him was wearing a black hooded top.
Anyone with information should call the Kirklees District Robbery Team on 101.
