MORE parking spaces are to be created as part of Bradford Royal Infirmary’s new £28m hospital wing when work starts this week.
The multi-million pound modernisation project that will transform the hospital's children's services as well as include a state-of-the art intensive care unit should be ready by Autumn 2016.
The massive project will also include a revised rear entrance with improved access for visitors, staff, and those with disabilities and will be built on vacant land next to ward block one, built in 2009, and the two blocks will be joined together.
Extra car parking spaces for visitors will also be created under the scheme including 16 spaces for the disabled, 19 short stay and five drop-off.
