A BRADFORD chemical cleaning company has donated more than 100 Easter eggs to a charitable appeal.
Staff (pictured) at Christeyns, based in Rutland Street, handed 118 eggs over to Bradford’s Junior Chamber International (JCI), and the treats will now be distributed to disadvantaged children across the district by local charities.
Nick Garthwaite, the firm’s managing director, said: “Many Christeyns employees contributed eggs to this fantastic cause, and we exceeded our 2014 collection by a significant amount.”
JCI Bradford is trying to beat last year’s total of 1,070 eggs, and a host of local schools and businesses have taken part by holding their own mini-appeals.
