A FARM has ploughed a £1,200 donation into Manorlands.

Jay McLarnon and Heather Airey (pictured) – owners of New Redcar Farm at Whitley Head, Steeton – and friends raised the cash with various activities last year, including a barbecue and Christmas event.

They chose the Oxenhope Sue Ryder Hospice as beneficiary because they both know people who received care from the charity.

Manorlands fundraiser Andrew Wood received the cheque and thanked the couple and all those involved for their efforts.

“This large donation will make a big difference to our patients – be they with us in the hospice or receiving our care in their own homes,” he said.
