A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been put behind bars for eight months for brandishing a knife in a Bradford street.
Abena Ojendi, of Maitland Close, Allerton, Bradford, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place on September 6 last year.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that he was conditionally discharged in March 2012 for a offence of street disorder.
A few months after the order had expired, Ojendi got drunk and waved the knife while ranting in Greenway Drive, Lower Grange.
Judge Jonathan Rose warned that people who got drunk and went round the streets armed with knives would receive immediate prison sentences.
