A woman was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries after her car collided with a lamp-post.
The crash happened on the A638 Bradford Road, seconds after the woman had exited the Chain Bar roundabout under the M62, at about 10.50pm yesterday. She was heading towards Cleckheaton.
Firefighters from Cleckheaton and Batley stations freed the 26-year-old from her MG ZR 105 vehicle by cutting off its roof and one of the sides.
A spokesman for Cleckheaton fire station said the motorist had lost control as she left the roundabout and collided with a lamp-post.
He added: "When it's wet coming off there it seems to catch people out.
"It is the latest crash to happen there. They have only just replaced a fence from the last one."
A male passenger in the car was not injured, added a police spokesman.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but is not believed to be seriously injured.
