A CRASH between a cyclist and a pedestrian led to the closure of one of the main routes out of Bradford tonight.
A police spokesman said Tong Street was closed following the incident, which occurred shortly before 5pm.
One person, understood to be the cyclist, is said to have suffered head injuries, but the severity of the injuries is not yet known.
The A650 Westgate Hill Street in Tong was partially blocked, with queuing traffic in both directions between the A651 Bradford And Heckmondwike Road junction and the North View Road junction.
Initial reports suggested a lorry had been involved in the collision, but the police spokesman said this was not thought to be the case.
The road was re-opened at about 6.30pm
